As a Resident Services Team Member you will report to a Community Director who will act as your team captain.  As in any athletic sport, as a key player on the team, your goal is to deliver an incredible game and win.  At Elmington Property Management we strive for excellence in every endeavor, and our service to residents is a major part of that game plan.   


Each Elmington community is its own living, breathing corporation.  It has income and expenses, debt and a bottom line.  As a Resident Services Team Member you will be asked to enhance the residents' experience while they live at an Elmington community.  You may transport residents in a vehicle to outings and shopping, assist with curb appeal and ensure cleanliness in our common areas and aid in the proper presentation of the property while working with your team to execute the strategy of the owner.  You will be asked to assist in effectively managing the community's reputation, ensuring a clean, safe environment and working to provide a better than expected place to live while gaining the trust and respect of the residents.  You will be asked to work with your Community Director to find effective and creative solutions to manage expenses. You will impact the first impression our potential residents will have and you will provide ongoing service for current residents with your efforts providing them a home to be proud of and enhancing their daily lives.

Your Key Job Responsibilities will be to:

  • Transport residents to activities and shopping.

  • Create a schedule of events, communicate it and then execute this plan throughout each month.

  • Help residents with shopping bags and other items when returning to the property from excursions.

  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of grounds to include parking lot, buildings and all common areas.

  • Clean out vacated apartments when additional help is needed.

  • Address issues with landscaping and snow/ice removal as requested.

  • Communicate effectively with residents and coworkers even in difficult situations.

  • Provide exceptional customer service.

  • Operating computers and other technological devices to access email, and company utilized software.

  • Meet task deadlines as assigned.






Essential Functions of Your Role Include, but are not limited to:

  • Operate a motor vehicle

  • Effective communication

  • Help maintain the physical condition of the property

  • Pick up debris and remove other objects from the property

  • Responding to issues outside of normal work schedule when required

  • Accurately reporting all time worked by clocking in before beginning to work and out only when done working

  • Following all company policies and procedures


Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Constantly bending, stooping and grasping objects

  • Frequently lifting and transporting up to 50 pounds variable distances

  • Regularly required to talk or hear

  • Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls

  • Frequently required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

  • Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

  • Temperature in the workplace is varied, the ability to withstand lengthy periods of time in seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is necessary.
