POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and execution of strategic marketing plans with the purpose of attracting potential residents and clients as well as retaining existing ones.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Project management

  • Proficient in Microsoft products and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Ability to administer social media initiatives

  • Communication proficiency

  • Ethical conduct

  • Some experience building websites preferred

  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively

  • Familiarity with latest trends, technologies and methodologies in, web design, branding campaigns, promotional products, etc.

  • Collaboration and team working skills

  • Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision

  • Ability to take on new tasks with urgency & attention to detail

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Crafts effective language for a variety of platforms - pitch decks, internal communications, marketing campaign materials and re-brands

  • Proofreads & edits documents as needed, using a high level of attention to detail to edit for subject matter, flow, consistency, tone, audience and accuracy

  • Manages Elmington's Social Media platforms, including posting to Elmington's page as well as responding daily to any messages that Elmington receives

  • Works with clients to propose, create, and order promotional materials

  • Keeps Trello cards updated daily to ensure no deadlines are missed

  • Manages HappyFox account and ensures all communication is made in a timely manner

  • Works with project manager to schedule and plan HappyFox projects accordingly

  • Partners with Administrative team to ensure all business cards and name badge orders are processed correctly and efficiently

  • Works collectively with the entire creative department to achieve re-branding success and helps to create and uphold brand identities for Elmington and its clients

  • Assists with executing the company's marketing strategies

  • Builds and maintains websites for properties and external clients

  • Keeps promotional item inventory organized in closet and manages re-orders of items

  • Manages team credit card expenses through Concur

  • Carries out internal communications and initiatives to orient and engage all employees in company culture

  • Creates collateral pieces when necessary using programs such as Illustrator or InDesign

  • Performs additional duties as assigned  

 

SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:

  • 4-year degree in marketing or a related field preferred though not required

  • Two years of marketing experience required in this industry or a similar industry

  • Some experience building websites preferred

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

  • Frequently sit, stand and walk

  • Regularly required to talk or hear

  • Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls

  • Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

  • Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

  • Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate
