We are seeking an awesome Maintenance Engineer!

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will report to Regional Maintenance Supervisor, who will act as your team captain and carry out plays called by our Director of Commercial Properties who will act as your leader. As in any athletic sport, as a key player on the team, your goal is to deliver an incredible game and win. At Elmington Capital Group we strive for excellence in every endeavor, and our service to our tenants is a major part of that game plan.

Each Elmington commercial building is its own living, breathing corporation. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be asked to manage the long term sustainability and quality of the building while working with your team leader to execute the strategy of the owner. You will be the primary contact for our existing tenants and your efforts will help retain our tenants! Along with this responsibility comes a very high level of expectations. Your Key Job Responsibilities will be to:

  • Maintain the building, grounds and mechanical equipment with particular attention towards safety and security.
  • Communicate effectively with tenants and coworkers
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Perform service requests correctly and in a timely manner
  • Operating computers and other technological devices to access email, and company utilized software

Essential Functions of Your Role Include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on, but not limited to: HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment and landscaping
  • Perform general maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned, including installations and repairs involving plumbing and electrical equipment
  • Respond to maintenance requests by tenants
  • Maintain positive communications with local fire marshal and building inspector
  • Physically inspect the property in its entirety
  • Responding to issues outside of normal work schedule when required
  • Accurately reporting all time worked by clocking in before beginning to work and out only when done working
  • Following all company policies and procedures
